September's Here! It was great to start this month off with a day off..boy did I need it. I took one whole day yesterday to catch up on school work and then had some family time today. We took our children to the mountains and went fishing...such a simple day of fun.

Here's my currently...very self explanatory. For my heart I just put three things I love and can't wait to have have more of this fall: coffee, football and family time!



I have worked on my listening center this week...I really wanted my students to be productive at this center but independent! So I came up with an idea to use journaling strips and class journals. 

I love how it looks and its working out great so far!

You can can a free copy of my Journaling Strips here . I only made 7 each, fiction and nonfiction to keep it simple...I made add more later!

    I got super lucky and had a 4 day weekend! I could use more of those long weekends too. :)
